How To Get Help on Campus

College is a time of growth and change that can be full of stressors.  Help is available - here's how to find it.

Time Required: 1 week
Here's How:
  1. Call your college counseling center and make an appointment.
  2. Check to see what classes or groups they offer.
  3. In a crisis - go to the student health center.
  4. Ask a trusted professor to recommend a resource.
  5. Talk to the resident assistant in your dorm.
Tips:
  1. Be careful that drinking and partying do not interfere with class work.
  2. Ask about the counseling center's policy on confidentiality of you have any concerns.
  3. You can often request a male or a female therapist or a specific therapist.
