---- Mentally Disabled Can't Vote -----
"Of the 50 states in our nation, 44 contain constitutional laws and statutes that bar individuals with emotional or cognitive impairment from voting," said Kay Schriner, research fellow at the Fulbright Institute of International Relations. "The only other group of Americans who face such disenfranchisement are convicted felons." Read more at:

---- Which Candidate do you Really Like? ----
The 2000 presidential campaign rolls on. Candidates are using all sorts of tactics to get your vote. Who do you want to be the next president? Are you sure? Researchers at Yale University and the University of Washington have developed an intriguing psychological test that purports to measure your "unconscious candidate preference." Does it really matter who you unconsciously prefer for president? Is it likely that you are going to find yourself in the voting booth voting unconsciously for a candidate that you don't consciously favor? I doubt it. Find out more and take the test at:

Stubborn & Disagreeable Presidents
"By your measure, Bill Clinton is a good President--open to new ideas and excitement, extraverted, risk taking, enthusiastic, etc. I think if we as a Nation can get past his indiscretions, he will be included among the greatest Presidents in history. He was not stubborn, though. He didn't cling to bad ideas for the country. He was willing to change, a virtue in my book, although some people treated that quality as a moral problem."
