Trustworthy Brochures
These brochures were written by staff at Federal agencies such as the National Institute of Mental Health and the Knowledge Exchange Network to give consumers, professionals, and family members information about different mental disorders.  This material is trustworthy, but the point-of-view generally endorses the medical model.  Keep in mind that there are alternative ways to view some of these disorders, and medications are not always the first treatment that should be tried.
