Do Vacations Really Help?

Does your vacation relieve the stress in your life or contribute to it? We think of vacations as a way to relieve stress. We get away from the drudgery of our lives and take a week or two to have a good time away from home. A summer 2002 survey of 1000 Americans by the Gallup organization found that most of us return from vacation more tired then when we left.

Do you want to share your story of depression on television?

We've been contacted by the producer of a new, nationally-syndicated talk show called the Dr. Keith Ablow Show. They are looking for people who have become depressed due to a traumatic experience.

I don't recommend this for everyone, and if you are in treatment please discuss this with your therapist or doctor. If you or someone you know is battling depression and would like the to be on television to tell your story and interact with a psychiatrist please send an email to alissa.cote@drkeithtv.com. They ask that you include a one to two paragraph summary about your struggle with depression and how people around you have been affected. Please remember to include your contact information.
