Swedish researchers confirmed this week that exercising in middle age can cut the risk of suffering from Alzheimer's disease later in life. This seems particularly true in high risk people. The researchers found that people in mid-life who exercised at least twice a week had a 60 percent lower risk of suffering from dementia than more sedentary people.
