U.S. Teens Use Less Ecstasy

The Partnership for a Drug-Free America reported that American teenagers are abusing "ecstasy" less than last year. They also reported that many teens abuse prescription medications.
Steve Pasierb, the group's president, is reported by Reuters as stating the following concerning this aspect of the study: "The study shows that 21 percent - that's one in five teenagers - have used a prescription drug outside of a doctor's direction and recommendation."
