Scientists Create Atlas of the Brain

Scientists have compiled an atlas that contains digitally mapped images of 7,000 human brains. Researchers are trying to better understand what constitutes normal brain by studying this atlas.
Researchers have worked for the last 10 years to compile these brain images from a variety of people from seven nations on four continents. Most are between the ages of 20 and 40, but some are as young as 7 and as old as 90. Read more in this MSNBC article: Brain atlas seeks to define normalcy
